The Coaching Process

Working together with a coach over an extended period of time can be very rewarding for the client. After all, that’s why you’re here: to move ahead in your goals!

This process can be linear (step-by-step in a methodical way) or non-linear (addressing topics and challenges as they appear). In most cases, it is both.

Over time, the results of coaching are transformative within you; and you may not always see the results immediately. This is where patience is important. There are a host of tools that I use, in service of your learning, development, awareness, and success. Some tools will be used on a structured, linear way; and some will be used when it fits your needs for an individual session.

Monthly coaching includes:
  • Specific topic chosen during each session, related to your “Big Picture” goals.
  • Accountability for the actions you commit to at the end of each session. Whether you complete them or not, there will always be learning.
  • Exercises tailored to fit your goals, using:
    • Writing
    • Imagining
    • Speaking
    • Listening
    • Physical awareness
    • Drawing
  • Visualizing your goals
  • Discovering roadblocks to goals
  • Finding solutions to roadblocks
